90 Day Fiancé: Ariela Weinberg’s relationship with Biniyam Shibre in detail!
TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 featured seven couples engaged in a serious relationship and prepared to tie the knot.
Among them were Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, who returned in season 9 since their debut on Season 2 of the TLC spinoff.
For those who have missed out on their relationship details from the earlier seasons, here are the significant moments in the couple’s love adventure, which has seen both highs and lows.
How Ariela & Biniyam first met?
Ariela ran into Biniyam at a taxi station in Ethiopia in 2019.
She was head over heels when she saw Biniyam for the first time.
Reminiscing about the meeting, she stated:
“I was waiting for a taxi outside a local hotel, and I saw a very attractive guy. I yelled out, ‘Don’t I know you from somewhere?’ and it actually worked!”
Their romance began quickly following Ariela’s separation from her ex-husband, Leandro, at the time. And a few months later, Ari discovered she was pregnant after being with Bini.
Then, the couple decided to move to Ethiopia and settle down.

However, her mother was quite saddened to see her daughter leave, but she went along with her wishes and assisted Ariela in settling in with Biniyam.

Tension started building between the two
For Ari, an American native, it was a new experience living in Ethiopia.
Essential items like toilet seats or refrigerators weren’t always anticipated in the typical home.

Ariela wished Biniyam had been more generous, but his work at a nightclub and side jobs didn’t pay well enough for them to live in any of Ethiopia’s more upscale housing alternatives.
Tension had started to build between the two. And in addition to that, she was also not getting along with Biniyam’s sister.

Couple welcomes baby Avi
Despite all the hardships between the two, the couple welcomed their son Avi on December 17, 2019.

When Ariela and Biniyam went to the hospital for what they thought was a routine checkup, they discovered that she would give birth right away.
Because the baby was breech, she had to perform a C-section to deliver the child without endangering either the infant or Ariela.

As soon as Baby Avi was born, Ariela and Biniyam’s argument started again.
Ariela was annoyed that Biniyam chose to walk home with the child rather than take a taxi because he hadn’t bought Avi a car seat.
Additionally, she did not enjoy Biniyam setting up a sheep sacrifice in her honor.

Finally, a married couple
Looking at their relationships, fans had always doubted their future. But whatever situation they faced, the couple held their relationship strong.

Biniyam then took everyone by surprise when he proposed to her in the middle of the Orthodox festival Timkat.
Accepting the proposal, the couple married on July 31, in an episode of 90 Day Fiancé.
Plans on living in the U.S.
After the marriage, Ariela decided to return to Africa on the condition that they would relocate to Kenya and begin the process of migrating to the United States.
Soon enough, fans of 90 Day Fiancé learned in the tell-all special that Biniyam obtained the K-1 visa. and even saw him performing in the U.S. at an MMA.
As of now, Ariela and Biniyam have settled down in the new states.
