The lovely couple’s engagement was announced on August 19, 2016, during the campaign.
She was the CEO of Longhorn Marketing in Fargo, where Doug used to work and they were dating for years.

Doug is a father to three children: Jesse Burgum, Tom Burgum, and Joe Burgum.
