Candace was previously married to Shelden Williams
Candace first tied the knot with Shelden Williams in 2008. Her ex-husband is also a pro athlete like her.
Shelden played college basketball at Duke University and joined the NBA Draft in 2006. The Atlanta Hawks selected him in the fifth round. Since then, Shelden has played for the Sacramento Kings, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, and New York Knicks.

The former couple called it quits after eight years of marriage.
In November 2016, Shelden allegedly filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause for the dissolution of the marriage.
In addition, according to Bleacher Report, Candace agreed to pay her ex-husband $400,000 in alimony as part of their divorce settlement in 2018. She agreed to pay the money so she wouldn’t have to pay spousal support in the future.
According to TMZ, the two also split the profit from their previous house, which sold for $3.75 million.

After years of keeping her personal life out of the limelight, Candace announced her second marriage in December 2021.
On 14 December, the baller took to Instagram and revealed that she has been married to Anna Petrakova for two years.
The two married secretly surrounded by close friends and family.

“Happy Anniversary, Моя жена (my wife)! Two years ago, I got to marry my best friend in front of our close family and friends. My heart could have exploded. I cried like a baby …To know me or you is to know our love. This journey hasn’t been easy. I am proud of us, what we have built, and who we have grown to become both individually and together.”
Aside from Candace’s past, it’s great to know that she is happy and blissfully in love.
